Skapende (scar-pen-day) Creative is a boutique design and creative company based in the beautiful west coast town of Wanganui, in the North Island of New Zealand.

Established in 2004 as a graphic design firm specialising in brand identity, print and advertising, the company's focus has now expanded to include a broader range of creative services including, copy writing, original music and jingles for TV and radio.

David Silvester is Skapendé's founder and principal designer. David began his professional design career as a teenager in the mid nineties, producing tee-shirt graphics for surf clothing label, Zeal.
Since then David has gained a bachelors degree in archaeology and ancient history, worked as a freelance graphic designer, in-house designer and webmaster, and as a professional actor and musician.

David's vision for Skapendé is to see all of these creative specialities united under one roof, providing a streamlined and integrated creative service for New Zealand businesses.
